The Delivery Day Again

Well so here’s the birth story for my 2nd born Raeanne Sim

Checked into MtA at 10plus in the morning for elective csec… Opt for GA but when the Doctor Yeo came and access that i was having flu and cough, she suggested epi csec. And note that even i had written as suggested, she wasn’t giving me a choice as she mentioned that baby and my safety was  more important than anything elses. She access my records in 2013 and was even more bend to make me take epi as there were records that they had a hard time locating my windpipe for the tubing 😦

I had insisted to speak to Dr Phua before deciding. Dr Phua mentioned that it will be a fast and safe operation so don’t worry. I remembered i tried to argue a bit further as i was very scared but was blocked by Dr Yeo’s “if you insist on GA, i will have to get you another doctor” FML!

Wheeled into the Operation Room 6 and everything just happened! Sit in place relax and a needle was poked into my hand for the drip without me getting ready. I remembered the nurses spoke to me and tried to distract me. Soon i was given 2 jabs in the spine and 1 2 3 4 5 i felt my lower body went zzzzzzz

Dr Phua asked if i could feel anything and there goes the cut and suction! “Where is the father? Where is the father?” That was the question posed as it was a last min decision to get epi csec they had to look for the Hubbz that was justoutside at the waiting area. Finally i saw him and i was so relief as i was so scared to be alone there. From the reflection of the OT lights, i could actually see my opened stomach FML! It was a scary sight yet I couldn’t peel my eyes away.

The nurse and Dr Yeo stand above me and started pushing my tummy 1 2 3! 1 2 3! And Raeanne is out!!!!

Thank God we are both safe and sound 🙂

To my FirstBorn

To my firstborn:

I still remember the 1st time we met and it was love at first sight. Never knew that I will feel the sparkles in my heart popping to someone that I have just met for the 1st time. The awwww of the cute button nose to the pout that you have when you are tired and even the cries you gave now seems so cute! The growing up phrase that we had spent together made me a better person and I am so glad that you are the one that made me a mother. The constant laughter that you have brought into our lives made me very thankful that I has chosen motherhood. Mummy might always be the ‘bad’ one at home but please know that I love you so dearly! In another 7 days, lill sis Raeanne will be joining us to love you and I am sure that you will also love her dearly. Rest assured that Daddy and Mummy will continue to love you the same as we parents are amazing that we are able to grow more love to love our children.

Thank you Rachelle Dear

Almost ready! I am at Week 35

Counting down and i cannot wait for week 38 to come as it’s my csec day! Now every walk and move is so pain and i refuse to start my maternity leave as i want to spend the maximum time i can with Raeanne!

Hello 35 weeks bomb! As compared to Rachelle’s time, Raeanne is so much bigger! Even the scan shows that she is a much bigger baby! Oh well, i love babies on the larger side as they seems easier to care for!

Did the necessary washing as i am on MC this week… the pain in my back is killing me! 😦

The outfit that Raeanne will be coming back in 🙂

See you soon my love!

Hello February

Hello February.

Finally we are at February 2017 and this also meant that I will be seeing Raeanne in 3 weeks time! Time sure passes fast! I have been trying to spend more time with Rachelle recently but sometimes she is really getting on my nerves!! haha!

Sometimes I kinda stress myself out as I am really unsure if I am ready to cope with 2 children, I have many people asking me why not get a helper instead of looking for a babysitter as the costing will be about the same but I can just say I am not ready to stay with a stranger. Moreover, a babysitter is pro in taking care of the infant while the helper might be an additional headache to my life if I am super suay 🙂

Well, speaking about babysitter, I am still pending agent as they are only willing to help me to look for one start end March as I am only starting in mid-June. Well if anyone know of any good babysitter around Punggol please email me enonpoh@gmail.com

Till later 🙂

All Is Well

I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child 🙂 Happy to know that I am blessed and R will be having another sibling to play with. Stress will be on the handling part but I know I will be able to handle it well. #Motherhood is tough but is a stage that all parents have to go through.

I had gotten to know that I was preggy during lunch at work, was feeling nausea for quite some time but not due for period at the point of time… was just thinking since is so cheap the test kit so let’s go! who knows dadah!!! Faint red line that has gotten darker as time passes.

Went through the usual gynae checks starting week 7 and the feeling is still TOUCHING when I saw the ultrascan! The real tough part is the morning sickness that says KILL ME PLEASE!! Well I am glad that I am 20 weeks plus now!

Fast forward to the Oscar scan at week 12, everything was ok till Dr Phua called me 3 days after the scan to update me the results of the scan. The cutoff for the DS was 1:395 and my blood test came back 1:605. He mentioned that it still falls within the low risk range not it is a must for them to recommend me to see if I want to take another test. As compared to Rachelle’s results that was 1:6000plus, this has gotten me quite worried. Spoke to hub and we decided to just wait for the detailed scan at 20week as I was thinking that no matter what, I would want to keep the baby as it is a life.

Well, the scan yesterday was good. Everything was good and thank God that I can lessen my worried by at least 80%. The remaining 20% is to pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy journey till my csec day 🙂
